For oil painting animals, students may choose to bring in a reference of a beloved pet or choose a reference provided by the class. With his extensive experience in painting dogs and other animals, the instructor will demonstrate his preferred method for painting hair and combining the elements of art to create a unique animal portrait in oil paint. Some experience with oil pain required.

NOTE: Oil paint uses solvents and thinners for cleanup; students will use odorless turpenoid instead of regular turpentine, but some materials can still be hazardous if used incorrectly. Only students ages 18 and up may participate in this workshop.
