In this class students will learn how to create a piece of artwork in the style of famous glass artist Dale Chihuly. By using plastic plates, cups, and more, students will add their own colors and use heat guns to manipulate the plastic to look like blown glass. Some sculptures will be free-form standing or have the possibility of hanging.

NOTE: This class uses high-temperature heat guns to partially melt and distort plastic. Safety is paramount at the Art Center, so please come prepared to practice safety in our studio while using these dangerous tools.
