Basket Weaving: Natural Reeds

This workshop will focus on the wet weaving process with splits and natural reeds to make a traditional basket. We will use prepared round reed and flat splits to create a functional and beautiful basket, which will be done by the end of the workshop. Participants will have the choice of a square or round start, and incorporating a handle if desired.

NOTE: If you can, please bring a pair of handheld pruning shears from your garden to help trim the materials! For those who do not own a set, shears will be lent out for the workshop.
